Features of Samsung Galaxy Note 4:

The much-awaited Galaxy Note 4 has finally been launched by Samsung. The arrival of a new flagship phablet is always exciting, and the just-launched Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is no exception.

On the surface, it may not look too different from its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 3, though it features the same screen size. But, it is packed with a number of new features and improvements. Here are some awesome features that Samsung has introduced in the Galaxy Note 4.

Quad HD Screen:

The Galaxy Note 4 is still at 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display, but now comes with Quad HD Resolution (2560 x 1440px) and a pixel density of 515ppi (pixel per inch), which gives users a better display with more accurate colors.

Improved S Pen and Software:

Samsung has doubled the S Pen’s sensitivity on Note 4 to 2048 points, allowing for smoother, more natural handwriting. The S-Pen also comes with a new software feature called ‘Smart Select’ which allows you to easily select the contents you want from any text, screen and apps, and then share them together via email or text by dragging and dropping them.

Enhanced Camera:

The cameras have also been improved with the rear facing camera bumped up from 13MP to 16MP and the front facing camera has been made more selfie friendly by putting 3.7MP wide-angle front-facing camera. You also have the option to use the heart rate monitor as a shutter button while using the front facing camera.
The Note 4 has also added a feature known as the ‘Snap Note’ that will allow you to take pictures of text documents and change what’s in the picture.

Seamless Multitasking:
The galaxy note 4 provides all-new Multi Window feature for seamless multitasking. Users can choose how they access their applications with full, split or pop-up screens, and easily change the size and positioning of the apps on the screen with one intuitive swipe.

Advanced Voice Recorder:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 features a new voice recording app that has the ability to give a best possible audio quality in noisy environments. It comes with three microphone to help with a directional noise cancellation.
In addition, Note 4 gives you the ability to select direction you want to pick up voices from. You can select up to eight different directions. For example, if you are in a big hall, you can set Note 4 recording app to record voices only coming from the speakers. This gives you the advantage of getting a quality record. There’s also an interview mode to isolate the interviewee voice in order to get a quality voice record.

Fast Charging Battery:

Another special feature that comes with Galaxy Note 4 is the Fast Charging capability. With the feature, you can now charge your note 4 battery much faster. Samsung claims Note 4 is capable of recharging from 0 to 50% in just 30 minutes.

UV Sensor:
Galaxy Note 4 is the first mobile phone with a built-in UV (ultraviolet radiation) sensor. It’s part of the S Health system, and is designed to warn users if they’re getting too much sun by measuring the sun’s ultraviolet radiation.
There are five UV index levels: Low, Moderate, High, Very High and Extreme, and users will be presented with different precautions based on the level of the sun’s ultraviolet radiation. The UV sensor is activated when you hold the phone at some degree angle while under the sun.

Conclusion:

The Galaxy Note 4 is an excellent high end smartphone that delivers many awesome features with an improved user experience. The quad HD display is amazing and the S Pen experience has been significantly enhanced, the 2048 levels of sensitivity make the Samsung phablet a genuine drawing tool.
Additionally, Samsung pushed the envelop quite a bit on the selfie experience, thanks to the 3.7 MP F1,9 front camera sensor, the wide selfie feature and the heart rate monitor turned into a shutter. Overall, the galaxy Note 4 is a killer phablet.
