Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, the World’s Fastest Android Smartphone, Officially Launched

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, the World’s Fastest Android Smartphone, Officially Launched:

Samsung has just launched an upgraded version of their popular Galaxy S5, called Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. The new version of the Galaxy S5 is powered with a Snapdragon 805 chipset which is Qualcomm’s fastest chipset ever, making the Galaxy S5 Plus is the fastest android smartphones on the market for now.

The Galaxy S5 initially comes with the Snapdragon 801 chipset that included a 2.5GHz quad-core processor, and now this new processor model is also equipped with same 2.5GHz but has an improved chipset in the Snapdragon 805, along with new core – Krait 450.

The chipset also carries a new generation GPU – Adreno 420 – breaking away from the 3xx series. The other major change is the improved 4G performance. The Galaxy S5 Plus comes with support for ‘LTE Advanced’, which allows for blazing download speeds at 300Mbps, double the performance of regular LTE. With these speeds and a good connection, you will never have to deal with lag or buffering ever again.

Aside from the faster speed, the Galaxy S5 Plus is similar to the original Galaxy S5 in every other specification. They have the same display (5.1 inch Super AMOLED display with 1080p resolution); same dimensions (142mm x 72.5mm x 8.1mm); same weight (145g); same memory (2 GB RAM); same cameras (16MP rear and 2MP front camera); and same battery (Li-Ion 2800 mAh).

As of now, the device is only available in Netherlands but it should be coming soon to the other European countries. The smartphone is tagged at €599 and are offered in Black, Blue, Gold and White color options.
