The Galaxy Note 4 sports a quad-core 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 or Exynos 5433 chipset while the Note 3 features a quad-core 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor or Exynos 5 Octa 5420 chipset. Despite this, both the devices are backed by 3GB of RAM.

The Galaxy Note 4 sports a 16MP rear-facing camera with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). The Galaxy Note 4 also has a 3.7 MP front-facing camera that offers a default 90 degree shooting angle and up to 120 degree wide angle.
In contrast, the Note 3 has a 13MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera but it does not have OIS attached to it. In terms of video, both devices are equal, capable of playing 1080p video at 60fps and 2160p video at 30fps (for N9002 and N9005 series only).
